Product Certifications

SCS (Scientific Certification Systems)
SCS provides material content certification assessment services to manufacturers offering products made from recycled or biodegradable materials. Green Fiber is proud to have earned this important certification for its insulation products. Green Fiber insulation contains a mix of pre- and post consumer recycled materials, which are defined by ISO as follows:

Pre-Consumer Material Pre-consumer material is often defined as material that has been diverted from the waste stream during a manufacturing process. Materials generated in a process and capable of being reclaimed within the same process (such as rework, regrind or scrap) are excluded.

Post-Consumer Material Post-consumer material is generated by households or by commercial, industrial and institutional facilities in their role as end-users of a product that can no longer be used for its intended purpose.
